When you need a DPA
Business clients whose personal data we process on your instructions — for example managed IT access to user mailboxes, backup of file shares, or ITAD with business contact details on certificates — should execute our Data Processing Agreement.
Where NLCRC is controller (your staff are our direct customers), our terms and privacy policy apply instead.
How to request
Email the address published at /contact with subject line Data Processing Agreement. Include your legal entity name, primary contact, and whether you require processor or joint-controller wording.
We provide our standard UK GDPR-aligned DPA (version 1.0, June 2026) with annex covering sub-processors, technical measures, and breach notification commitments.

We review customer paper on a case-by-case basis. Our standard DPA is designed for UK SMEs and is usually fastest to execute.
Who is controller vs processor?
NLCRC is controller for direct client relationships. We act as processor when handling your users or employees data under your instructions.
How quickly can we receive a DPA?
Standard DPAs are issued within a few working days once we have your entity details and contact.
