Simple reverse-proxy pattern for shop tools and small customer apps.
Layout
- App listens on 127.0.0.1:PORT
- nginx terminates TLS (Let’s Encrypt / certbot) and proxies to the app
Checklist
1) apt install nginx
2) Server block with proxy_pass, Host, X-Forwarded-For, X-Forwarded-Proto
3) certbot --nginx
4) Reload nginx; confirm HTTP→HTTPS redirect

- Do not expose admin panels without auth and IP allow lists where possible
